Parks

Magic Kingdom
Our family loves this park. But what's not to love? Walking down Main Street U.S.A. never gets old. The Magic Kingdom has rides for everyone of all ages. Get there early to beat the mid-morning crowds. We don't sleep in at all when we are at Disney World. Eating inside the park for breakfast is another way to get inside the park before it "officially" opens.  The Magic Kingdom also holds a daytime parade as well as a nightime parade.  Wishes the grande finale fireworks display is a must see!  This park can take a full day or more like two.

Animal Kingdom
This park is the newest of the WDW parks.  The focal point of the this park is the Tree of Life.  The park is divided into many areas including Asia, Africa, DinoLand USA and Discovery Island.  This park does a great job of showcasing animals, rides and shows.  Eating at the Tusker House for breakfast is a great way to get into this park before the crowds hit.  Coming early also provides you and your family with great photo opportunities. The Animal Kingdom also offers a parade.  The streets are narrow at this park so the characters and floats in the parade are up higher(on stilts or high vehicles).  Most families can probably do this park in one full day.

Epcot
This park is divided into two areas:  Future World and World Showcase.  Future World has many character meet and greets along with main attraction rides.  Some of the rides include, The Seas with Nemo, Test Track, Soaring and Misson: SPACE.  Check the height requirements on the Disney website.
World Showcase allows visitors to learn about other countries.  There are 11 countries represented.  Inside each pavillon there are shops, attractions and restaurants that represent the culture and cuisine of these 11 countries.  Epcot Character Spot is a special place where kids of all ages can meet, greet, snap pictures and get autographs from favorite Disney Characters, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Donald Duck.

At night get ready for IllumiNations: Reflections from Earth a fireworks, laser and water show that is not to be missed.  Depending on the ages of the members of your family this park can be a short trip or rather lengthy if you tour the countries.

Hollywood Studios
Let's go to the movies!  This is a great park for your family to meet their favorite characters, see shows and ride attractions that represent their favorite movies and televison shows.  This park is very organized when it comes to the layout.  Be sure to secure a seat for the Block Party Bash an interactive parade that stars Disney-Pixar Characters.  Fantasmic! is another must see firework and water show that is held on select nights.  This park can be done in one full day.
